Responsibilities
Drafting, proofreading, and finalizing legal and corporate documents, including contracts (MSAs, Leases, etc.), corporate governance documents (resolutions, etc.) and formal correspondence
Creating, managing and maintaining legal files, databases, and contract repositories
Managing state compliance filing obligations
Supporting corporate governance activities, including subsidiary records, annual filings, and board or committee materials
Monitoring and tracking deadlines such as contract renewals, compliance filings, and litigation or regulatory timelines
Preparing presentations, reports, and dashboards summarizing legal department activity and key metrics
Assisting with compliance, audit, and risk management initiatives
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's or Paralegal degree or equivalent experience / training
4+ years' experience as a paralegal or contracts manager
Experience as in-house paralegal or contracts manager in the technology industry
Highly organized and detail-oriented worker that can operate independently of direct oversight
Knowledge of the legal principles in corporate law and commercial contracts
Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations
Experience with contract management systems, legal document management platforms, e-billing software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
