Responsibilities
Handle litigation matters from start to finish, including discovery, motion practice, and trial
Serve as first chair at trial when appropriate
Manage case logistics, including deadlines, filings, and multiple workstreams across active matters
Draft motions, briefs, and written discovery, and help shape case strategy
Work independently while also collaborating closely with teammates and clients
Qualification
Required
At least ten years of experience in a law firm litigation practice
Experience handling commercial litigation matters; background in commercial real estate and construction disputes is a plus
Strong writing and analytical skills, with experience drafting motions, briefs, and discovery
Experience taking depositions and working on large or complex litigation matters
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills-you enjoy working with people
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to and good standing with the D.C. Bar, or eligibility to waive into the D.C. Bar
