Responsibilities
Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging including planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CT studies
Conduct thorough quality assurance and equipment quality control in compliance with regulations
Prepare and educate patients regarding procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
Administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols and adhere strictly to radiation safety practices
Work closely with physicians, radiologists, engineers, and medical staff to optimize patient care and imaging quality
Manage patient data transfer and maintain accurate documentation in imaging and electronic medical record systems
Provide training and support to new team members and students from approved programs
Respond to and communicate changes in patient condition promptly and efficiently
Participate in on-call rotations as required by the position
Qualification
Required
Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N)
Minimum of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience
ARRT(N) or CNMT certification required
Current BLS (AHA) certification
Minimum of 1 year of experience performing nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures
Strong knowledge of radiation safety, patient care, and quality control
Proficient computer skills including EMR and PACS systems
Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and maintain patient-focused care
