Finance & Accounting Manager - Global Private Equity
Origin Staffing is a top-tier global private investment firm seeking an accounting professional to join its Finance function in Boston. The Finance Manager will support the accounting, reporting, and operational oversight of U.S. partnership entities, focusing on partnership accounting and analytical work tied to financial reporting and internal stakeholder support.
Responsibilities
Own quarterly partnership allocations and distributions, including capital account maintenance and reconciliation across U.S. and international participants
Oversee partnership books and records, ensuring accurate reconciliations, cash activity tracking, and supportable reporting under U.S. GAAP
Support U.S. and international tax reporting, including taxable income allocations, K-1 coordination, and multi-jurisdictional reporting needs
Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting for internal stakeholders and contribute to special projects, process improvements, and system enhancements
Qualification
Required
5 – 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with public accounting (Audit or Tax) strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred
Strong experience with U.S. partnership accounting and solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and handling confidential information
Preferred
Experience in private equity or alternative investments is a plus, but not required
