Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services utilizing nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures. The role involves performing various nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring adherence to protocols, and collaborating with clinical staff to support accurate disease diagnosis and treatment planning.

Responsibilities
Performing nuclear medicine procedures such as planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CT scans
Ensuring strict adherence to exam protocols and quality assurance standards
Maintain and perform quality control on imaging equipment
Collaborate with engineers and physicists to optimize operational functioning
Uphold safety standards in radiation handling
Effective communication with patients and their families to explain procedures and ensure comfort and understanding
Conducting patient screenings and following infection control protocols
Coordinating with clinical staff and ensuring accurate documentation and image transfer for physician review
Qualification
Required
Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N)
Minimum of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience
ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required
BLS certification (AHA only) mandatory
Minimum of 1 year experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging
Proficient in radiation safety protocols and quality control procedures
Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
Computer literacy including EMR, PACS, and Microsoft Office
Ability to take on-call duties as required
