ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher specializing in early childhood education. The role involves providing specialized instruction and individualized support to high school students with special education needs in a unique school setting focused on early childhood development.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to approximately five high school students with special education needs
Collaborate effectively with assigned 1:1 paraprofessionals to deliver tailored educational services
Conduct the first half of the day in the classroom, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Facilitate community-based activities and job assistance during the second half of the day, supporting students in real-world work environments
Monitor student progress and communicate with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
Maintain detailed records in compliance with educational standards and regulations

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
Active Special Education Teacher license
Minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience
Valid teaching certification in Special Education

Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals and community partners
Strong organizational and communication skills
Flexibility and a commitment to supporting students beyond the classroom, including community engagement
