Responsibilities
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications as ordered
Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine studies with accuracy
Conduct daily and weekly quality control dose testing
Process and enhance digital images using technology such as Xeleris and NEMIS software
Evaluate images for technical quality and equipment calibration
Support cardiology diagnostics by performing treadmill stress and stress echo testing
Maintain a clean, safe work environment for patients and staff
Qualification
Required
Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N)
Minimum of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience
Minimum of 3 years recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a hospital setting
Certification by ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT credentials (documentation required)
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Proficient with GEHC Nuclear Medicine Infinia system and NEMIS / Xeleris 5.0 software
Skilled in performing stress echo and treadmill testing in collaboration with cardiologists or ACLS RNs
