Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator

Great Lakes International, Inc. is a leading distributor and manufacturer of water treatment components and equipment. They are seeking a full-time Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator to conceptualize and implement new marketing content and strategies through various mediums, including publications and advertisements.

Responsibilities

Create designs, concepts, and layouts that meet specific graphical needs – utilizing expertise and knowledge of aesthetic design principles
Design and create resources (fliers, newsletters, advertisements, banners, etc.) to positively enhance company communication
Capture and edit high-res product images for a wide range of applications
Maintain and update all company websites
Understand and study the variety of product lines in the industry – developing knowledge of how they operate and work together
Apply experience and knowledge to contribute valuable insight and recommendations regarding the design, concept, and layout of projects
Work with the Management team on finalizing designs and layouts that best address the needs and requirements of a project
Maintain a structured and organized archive of photos, graphics, and all related files
Support a positive workplace culture by executing select team member engagement initiatives and events
Continuously promote personal growth by actively studying various forms of resources, such as online guides/forums/tutorials, magazines, books, etc. May also include attendance to seminars, conventions, or workshops, as needed
Research and recommend new technologies, techniques, and procedures for a more effective and streamlined work environment
Position is not limited to the duties detailed above. Additional responsibilities may be extended, as opportunities arise

Required

Minimum 2-year degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or other related field, or 3-5 years of experience
Minimum 2+ years of related experience
Proficient with the following technologies: Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
Skilled in graphic design – utilizing a multitude of tools and applications to complete projects
Excellent organizational and project-management abilities, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
Must have creative problem solving skills, knowledge of design techniques, and the ability to present solutions
Ability to adjust to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines – continuously producing high quality work
