Monitor and document student progress, collaborating with colleagues and families

Adhere to all Illinois state guidelines and district policies related to special education
Support students social and emotional development alongside academic growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
active Special Education Teacher license
minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience
Valid Illinois LBS1 certification (Learning Behavior Specialist I)
Strong understanding of accommodations, modifications, and related behavior supports
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Patience, flexibility, and commitment to student success
Preferred
Experience working with middle school students in special education settings
