Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures including nuclear medicine and PET studies. This role involves delivering diagnostic imaging services under the supervision of a Radiologist, focusing on quality, safety, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures including planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CT imaging following established protocols
Maintain equipment functionality through quality control checks in collaboration with engineers and physicists
Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and ensuring comfort while adhering to HIPAA privacy standards
Uphold strict radiation safety protocols, administer radiopharmaceuticals safely, and educate patients on radiation precautions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing staff, medical personnel, and Radiologists to ensure smooth care delivery
Manage radiopharmaceutical inventory and follow established workflow systems including PACS and EMR documentation
Respond calmly and efficiently to patient condition changes, including emergency interventions as needed
Qualification
Required
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N)
Minimum of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Minimum of 1-year experience in nuclear medicine imaging and PET/CT
Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging equipment quality control standards
Strong communication and computer skills including Microsoft Office and electronic medical documentation
