Responsibilities
Perform acoustic and vibration design assessments, mitigation strategy development, and testing
Work directly with clients to identify their needs and apply suitable analysis and testing methods to develop solutions for a variety of acoustic challenges
Serve as the technical lead on designated projects with additional project management responsibilities
Contribute to a collaborative learning environment that supports the growth and success of NCE employees
Attend industry trade shows and events to expand NCE's landside business portfolio
Qualification
Required
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in acoustic consulting, noise assessments, and noise control is required
A demonstrated understanding of sound and vibration control in a range of industrial, environmental, and other commercial environments
Experience with positive client interaction
Experience in leading and managing noise control projects, individually and with a team
Experience performing acoustic testing for diagnostics and compliance
Acoustic computational modeling experience with demonstrated success
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office software
NCE encourages forward thinking and identification of new approaches to data collection and analysis
Travel and fieldwork are required
Some project assignments may require a valid driver's license, current passport, and/or TWIC card
Based on government project restrictions, applicants must be a US Citizen to comply with requirements
Preferred
BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, or other related field, preferably with coursework in acoustics and/or vibrations
