Responsibilities
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to identify potential shortages and discrepancies
Proactively investigate and resolve material shortages, working with Procurement and Production Planning to expedite delivery or identify alternative solutions
Assist with regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy
Generate and distribute accurate production traveler documents from SAP, and additional sources ensuring all necessary information and media is included for production personnel. (Training will be provided on SAP usage and label creation.)
Assist with maintaining accurate material master data in SAP, including descriptions, units of measure, and storage locations
Support the kitting process by preparing material packages for production orders
Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area
Assist with creating and maintaining inventory-related reports
Communicate effectively with Production, Procurement, and other departments regarding inventory status and potential issues
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1 year of experience in a manufacturing or inventory control environment, internships included
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to learn and adapt to new software and procedures
In order to be considered, U.S. Citizenship or permanent work authorization is required
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
Preferred
Associate's degree or some college coursework preferred
Basic understanding of inventory control principles is a plus
Familiarity with SAP is a plus but not required (training will be provided)
