Temporary Project Manager

Momofuku Goods aims to redefine the American pantry by providing home cooks with restaurant-grade essentials. The Temporary Project Manager will support project management functions through part-time work, ensuring timely delivery and successful execution of multiple supply chain and innovation projects.

Retail

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple supply chain & innovation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery
Develop project plans for new projects, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Independently collaborate with internal, cross-functional teams
Deliver growth, capacity, and innovation projects on time, within budget, and meeting service and quality expectations
Identify and address project risks, establishing contingency plans while communicating in a timely and effective manner to all stakeholders
Partner with Marketing (and related functions) and Product Innovation during the Initial Feasibility Stage of new projects, driving the transition from conceptualization to tangible prototypes
Develop and continually visit project risk assessment, ensuring all relevant cross functional teams and leadership are aware of project risks and mitigation plans
Conduct comprehensive project post-mortems, leveraging insights & learnings to enhance future projects
Provide periodic project status updates to Leadership and cross-functional teams
Drive timely project decisions required by Senior Leadership for success
Lead other meetings - documenting required actions and next steps (example: cost savings, innovation alignment, weekly project calls)

Required

Experience in project management for a Consumer Packaged Goods company
Experience working with cross functional leadership, as well as individual contributors
Previous examples of maintaining structured processes within a growing organization
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Team player with strong collaboration skills
Ability to summarize complex situations to leadership, driving to the best decisions for the company
Prior experience with project management software, team management tools, and/or quantified risk management

Preferred

PMP or other relevant certifications
Experience at both established and growing companies
Experience interfacing with contract manufacturers and other strategic supply chain external partners
