Responsibilities
Assist with preparation of client scoping for US Regulatory Outreach programs associated to CFTC, ISDA, FINRA, SEC and Dodd Frank
Understand U.S. banking environment
Knowledge of banking rules and regulations from financial regulators such as FINRA and SEC
Pick up on regulatory rules such as US Privacy regulation and SIPC Act quickly
Understand compliance to rules and regulations to mitigate company’s risk profile
Report metrics and KRI’s to upper management
Work with stakeholders of multiple teams to accomplish goals
Handle volume spikes and prioritize work including ad-hoc requests and projects to meet business demands in a timely manner
Interact effectively with Business Units, Compliance, global colleagues and build good working relationships
Answer questions and queries from local and remote team members and users in a timely fashion
Demonstrate teamwork, collaboration, responsiveness and accountability & ownership
Maintain strong attention to detail and research/investigative skills
Escalate issues and risks to the supervisor in a timely fashion
Ensure upward, downward peer communication of information and issues and risks
Deal easily with multiple issues and tasks under pressure
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience
Bachelors Degree
Experience with Microsoft Suite of products
U.S. banking with knowledge of US Dodd-Frank and/or financial operations experience preferred
Understanding of U.S. banking environment
Knowledge of banking rules and regulations from financial regulators such as FINRA and SEC
Ability to pick up on regulatory rules such as US Privacy regulation and SIPC Act quickly
Understanding of compliance to rules and regulations to mitigate company's risk profile
Ability to adequately report metrics and KRI's to upper management
Proficient in working with stakeholders of multiple teams to accomplish goals
Ability to handle volume spikes and prioritize work including ad-hoc requests and projects to meet business demands in a timely manner
Ability to interact effectively with Business Units, Compliance, global colleagues and build good working relationships
Ability to answer questions and queries from local and remote team members and users in a timely fashion
