Responsibilities
Weld heavy plate and sheet metal
Perform single-pass and multi-pass welds in all positions
Fit and weld material to specifications
Use welding-related gauges
Repair welds (use grinders, cutting torches, gouging equipment and other tools)
Qualification
Required
GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) skills
SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) skills
All position welding in the above processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Familiar with the use of industrial equipment (gas cutting, hand grinders, mechanical tools)
