Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Pega and integrated systems
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Validate business rules, UI behavior, workflow logic, and data integrity
Collaborate with developers to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve defects
Use test management tools for tracking (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Zephyr)
Participate in sprint ceremonies and provide testing estimates
Support UAT planning, coordination, and results validation with IRS users
Ensure compliance with federal QA and security standards
Qualification
Required
Active IRS MBI Clearance - mandatory
5+ years of professional software testing/QA experience
Experience testing Pega applications (preferred) or complex enterprise applications
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and QA best practices
Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Pega Test Suite, or similar is a plus)
Ability to write detailed test cases and defect reports
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred
Experience working on federal government IT projects
Familiarity with IRS systems or large-scale financial systems
Exposure to API testing (Postman, SoapUI)
Experience with FedRAMP, security, or accessibility testing
