Responsibilities
Lead the operational planning, execution, and oversight of clinical trials from study start-up through completion in accordance with GCP, regulatory requirements, and internal SOPs
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones; monitor progress against project goals, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
Manage and support the vendor selection process, including managing the team’s evaluation process of clinical vendors to ensure deliverables meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations
Assist in the preparation and management of clinical trial budgets and ensure financial tracking and reporting are accurate and timely
Collaborate closely with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
Ensure that all study documentation (protocols, investigator brochures, trial master files, clinical study reports) is accurate, complete, and compliant
Provide regular project updates to the Chief Medical Officer and leadership team, including trial status, risks, budget forecasts, and corrective action plans
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a life science, healthcare discipline, or related field; advanced degree (MS, MBA, MPH) preferred
5+ years of clinical project management experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO environment
Strong understanding of clinical trial execution, ICH-GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Proven ability to manage multiple studies or projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience with schizophrenia or neuropsychiatric disorders preferred
Prior experience in a small or mid-sized biotech company is a plus
