Responsibilities

Lead membership sales efforts, including prospect cultivation, tours, follow-up, and conversion
Develop and implement membership recruitment and retention strategies aligned with club goals
Manage the new member onboarding process to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience
Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and new members
Track and report membership data, trends, and analytics to the General Manager and Board as appropriate
Support member engagement initiatives and special events that foster connection and participation
Oversee all club communications, ensuring consistent branding, tone, and messaging
Produce and distribute member communications, including newsletters, emails, announcements, and digital content
Manage the club’s website content and assist with social media presence as appropriate
Collaborate with department heads to communicate events, programs, and operational updates effectively
Develop marketing materials and campaigns to support membership growth and club initiatives
Promote a culture of hospitality, professionalism, and service excellence
Respond to member inquiries and feedback in a timely and thoughtful manner
Work collaboratively with club leadership and staff to enhance the overall member experience

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred
3–5 years of experience in private club membership, hospitality, marketing, or communications
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Experience with membership management systems, CRM platforms, and email marketing tools
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Preferred

Knowledge of private club culture and member expectations is strongly preferred
