Responsibilities
Participate in architectural and system design
Design and deliver both functional and non-functional backend features
Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting best practices
Drive sophisticated AI-native solutions across Cisco’s portfolio
Collaborate with architecture team, other engineering team leads within AISPG as well as across different BUs, frontend and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery
Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance services and applications that support global enterprise users
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on development experience, including knowledge around data pipelines, AI/ML pipelines, highly distributed SaaS ideally in Enterprise use cases
Strong experience with AWS and monitoring/observability tools (ELK, Splunk, Datadog)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Proven track record of using AI assistants for coding & ability to champion for them
Excellent communication & leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred
Building 3rd party integrations (e.g. Service Now)
Experience with Go, Java, or Rust
Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, NodeJS, microfrontend architecture etc)
Knowledge of AI tools, frameworks, or methodologies
The capacity to think critically and tackle complex, innovative problems in the field
Passion for building scalable, reliable, and maintainable SaaS systems
Experience mentoring or coaching other developers
