Responsibilities
Develop and maintain cost models for data center cooling systems, including:
Chillers (500 kW, 1000 kW, 2000 kW)
Coolant Distribution Units (1 MW to 10 MW)
Precision air handling and containment systems
Controls, startup, commissioning, logistics, and service scope
Support pricing for single-site, campus, and large-scale deployments
Apply pricing tiers and volume breakpoints for multi-megawatt projects
Account for regional differences in labor, logistics, compliance, and currency (US and EU)
Partner with Sales Engineering and Operations to align pricing with technical scope and execution reality
Identify commercial risk and support margin analysis on complex opportunities
Contribute to standardizing pricing tools and estimating processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience in equipment pricing, cost engineering, or industrial estimating
Experience with large-scale or multi-megawatt systems
Strong Excel and cost-modeling skills
Ability to work with incomplete or evolving scopes and document assumptions
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience in data center or mission-critical infrastructure
OEM or manufacturing-based pricing background
Exposure to international projects or EU markets
Familiarity with startup, commissioning, or lifecycle service costing
