HR Generalist Intern

Chewy is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Generalist Intern to join our fulfillment center teams. This internship offers hands-on experience in core HR processes, employee relations, and talent development practices in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with coordinating new hire onboarding activities, including documentation, preparation of materials, and orientation sessions
Support new hire orientation programs by delivering presentations on company policies, benefits, and procedures
Manage and update employee records in the HRIS system and assist with payroll-related activities
Support the planning and execution of employee recognition programs, events, and engagement initiatives
Shadow HR leadership in employee relations tasks, such as performance management discussions and investigations
Help analyze HR data to spot trends in engagement, retention, and performance
Partner with leadership to brainstorm and implement creative ways to enhance employee experiences

Required

Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's degree program, in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2027
Strong organizational and communication skills, with an eye for detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
A desire to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment, with a strong interest in HR as a career
Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
Ability to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from June 8, 2026 - August 14, 2026
