Responsibilities
You will lead a team that works on a variety of solid waste management-related projects, including engineering design and permitting, preparation of construction bid documents, construction QA/QC and certification, as well as environmental compliance and operational assistance at municipal and industrial solid waste facilities
You will perform a wide variety of project duties, including:• Develop project work scope and budgets
Manage projects involving multidisciplinary teams
Understanding of permit conditions required for landfill construction and operations
In depth understanding and management of project budget
Ensuring deadlines are met, and planned operations are properly completed
Qualification
Required
Experience in Ohio landfill and solid waste management engineering is a plus
Proven ability to manage projects, site development, permitting, design, and construction quality assurance/quality control, preferably including acting as an Engineer-of-Record or Certifying Engineer
Candidate must be detailed oriented and have excellent communication and writing skills
Must be able to positively communicate & coordinate with clients
Ohio P.E. or desire to obtain a P.E. is needed
Preferred
Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred, with at least 10 years of experience in assigned discipline
