Sr. Safety Engineer

Responsibilities
Analyzes data to develop and implement strategies to lower the risk of accidents, injuries, and environmental dangers
Designs process improvements to lower the risk of safety incidents and environmental impact while balancing manufacturing procedures and production requirements; implements changes within the manufacturing facility
Understands pending regulatory changes that impact manufacturing location and implements changes to remain compliant with local laws
Ensures compliance with governmental regulations for safety and health, and assists with audits
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or university degree
5+ years of related work experience
Advanced knowledge in MS Office
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills
High attention to detail
Preferred
Experience with global manufacturing companies
