Responsibilities
Utilize electrical and fire protection design concepts to produce full sets of construction documents for commercial building projects
Train and work with licensed professionals on a collaborative team to perform a variety of design tasks
Design and develop construction documents for multiple types of projects using AutoCAD and REVIT
Complete sophisticated prototypical design for multiple types of buildings and Clients with little to no supervision
Perform within budget guidelines and Client standards in a progressive manner
May require minimal travel
Qualification
Required
1 year of applicable work experience and demonstrated skill with Revit and/or AutoCAD
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, fire protection engineering or related and 1 year of work experience in the design industry OR any combination of education and work experience that is equivalent to 5 years
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, fire protection engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
Specialized experience in fire alarm design and creating design documents
