Performs all aspects of medication distribution
Manages medication inventory
Maintains Automated Dispensing Machine
Performs monthly pharmacy inspections per policies/procedures
Participates in patient care
Participates in department quality improvements projects
Developing skills and knowledge base necessary to practice as a pharmacist

Qualification

Pharmacy Technician licensePharmacy Intern licenseBasic Life Support (BLS)Medication distributionMedication inventory managementPatient care participation

Required

Education: High School or GED and enrolled in Pharmacy School
Licensure: State of Virginia Pharmacy Technician license or a Pharmacy Intern license
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire
