Responsibilities
Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to employees; cultivates a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership
Prepares all required reports and correspondence for Copper Fabrication
Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement with machine functionality, material flow, and information accuracy
Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Maintaining a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment
Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Performs other job-related duties as necessary or assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 4 years related manufacturing experience or equivalent
Leads by example through 5S Methodology
Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication
Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
Commitment to excellence and high standards
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to manage priorities and workflow
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions
Preferred
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent preferred
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
