Responsibilities

Manage customer complaints, conduct error analysis, and implement effective problem-solving solutions
Conduct electrical and physical fault analysis of RMA integrated circuits (ICs)
Collaborate closely with the Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) and communicate findings to customers through Failure Analysis (FA) reports
Assist with RMA activities, including developing rework processes, troubleshooting procedures, and supporting customer audits
Work with cross-functional teams around the globe to analyze design, reliability, or yield failures down to a root cause to meet clients’ and market needs
Perform failure analysis of product defects and routine system inspections to prevent failures, drive defect resolution and future product improvements
Generate and maintain documentation, technical specifications, and customer 8D reports to meet the internal procedural and the customers’ required specifications and standards
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities, yet it may involve mentoring, guiding, and advising

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in failure analysis, electrical functional testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, with expertise in systematic problem resolution using the 8D (Eight Disciplines) Problem-Solving Approach
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles and their applications
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with internal customers, staff members and clients
Self-motivating, have strong time management/organizational skills Strong in multitasking, set priorities & follow through
Ability to work diligently individually and be a team player
Ability to demonstrate flexibility in dealing with difficult or unpleasant circumstances, adjust to changing conditions to meet job and customer requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively with attention to detail and quality
Proficient in MS including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and/or other applications to streamline communication and complete tasks
Work authorization in the United States is required without the need for sponsorship
2 years of experience in failure analysis (Required)
Ability to relocate to Plano, TX 75074 before starting work (Required)

Preferred

Knowledge of automotive quality tools/processes such as APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, DFA is a plus
Experience in technical sales support is preferred
