Concierge - Public Market

City of Lenexa is currently accepting applications for a Public Market Concierge. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the Lenexa Public Market while providing customer service and assisting with market promotions and events.

Responsibilities

Maintain the common areas of the Market by keeping them clean and presentable
Prepare the market for daily operation and/or perform closing tasks at the end of operation
Ensure all common furniture, fixtures, and equipment remain in working condition
Assist market operators with facility needs/requests
Provide customer service and ensure the public feels welcome and safe in the facility
Prepare the facility for private and special events
Assist with the promotion of market operators and events
Answer operator and customer inquiries
Receive shipments
Monitor and/or assist service contractors

Required

A high school diploma or G.E.D
At least one year in customer service, facility maintenance/operations, event planning, hospitality, retail or similar field
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to climb a ladder
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, crouch, or otherwise reach high- and low-level furniture, fixtures, and/or equipment
