Responsibilities
Perform dimensional, physical, and visual inspections of manufactured product
Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and automated inspection equipment (CMMs, laser flatness testing, surface perthometers)
Conduct ultrasonic and dye penetrant inspections, as required
Complete first article inspections prior to full-scale production
Accurately document inspection results and production data in SAP and related systems
Support production schedules by completing inspections on time and moving product efficiently to the next work center
Follow all quality, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing or machining experience preferred
Working knowledge of GD&T
Ability to interpret inspection data and explain results clearly
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification or willingness to obtain
Willingness to obtain ultrasonic and dye penetrant inspection certifications, if required
