Human Resources Manager
Krueger Wholesale Florist, Inc. is a leading distributor in the floral industry, committed to excellence in service and quality. The Human Resources Manager will support daily HR operations, manage employee relations, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with employment laws while fostering strong relationships within the organization.
Responsibilities
Oversee the human resources functions related to employment law and compliance, benefit administration, employee relations, safety and training
Serve as a trusted resource for employees, providing guidance on policies, procedures, benefits, and general HR inquiries
Provide coaching and consultative support to managers on employee relations, HR procedures, and regulatory compliance
Lead and facilitate comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
Prepare new hire documentation and maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS system in collaboration with payroll
Provide employees with clear guidance on benefit enrollment, changes, and available resources
Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment, ensuring timely communication and accurate processing
Assist in documenting and monitoring corrective actions to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards
Participate in vendor discussions with leadership, leveraging HR knowledge to enhance benefit strategies and compliance
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations by maintaining required postings, employee files, and HR records
Support administration and tracking of FMLA, workers’ compensation, and leave of absence documentation
Assist in reviewing and updating the Company’s employee handbook and HR-related forms to reflect current policies and regulations
Coordinate and schedule employee and supervisor training programs to support professional development and compliance
Assist with safety initiatives, including maintaining documentation, processing incident reports, and ensuring timely follow-up actions
On occasion, assist with posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring activities
Perform other duties as necessary
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in human resources, business management, business administration or related field required
5 or more years of human resources experience required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Prior HR management experience preferred
HRIS experience (ADP – preferred)
Certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) – preferred
