Responsibilities
Be the lead creating and adapting sourcing strategies that serve a wide range of goals across product excellence, profitability, delivery, resiliency, and sustainability
Partner closely with Product Creation teams and Material Supply Chain teams to develop and refine strategy, ensuring alignment across the Nike organization
Drive strategic supply chain projects to create a more responsive, responsible, resilient, and efficient materials supply chain, including country-level localization priorities
Develop and deploy material sourcing strategies to scale innovation into inline products, including supplier evaluation and scalability assessment, leveraging cross-functional support for critical inputs such as material forecast, vendor capacity, costing and commercial agreements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
7+ years of Sourcing, Costing, Manufacturing, or relevant experience in Materials
Strong material expertise in the Footwear industry required
Great knowledge of material suppliers landscape, with technical manufacturing expertise
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to go the extra mile to find solutions
Must be comfortable with navigating ambiguity, and have the ability to navigate through a complicated stakeholder matrix to achieve results and drive strategic decision-making
A team player to work collaboratively cross-functionally, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong growth mindset
Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
Cultural awareness and a champion for diversity, inclusion, and belonging
