They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, focusing on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Responsibilities
Set up and maintain vendor and client records across internal systems
Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation
Prepare payment batches (checks, ACH, and credit card) for approval
Track incoming and outgoing payments and maintain accurate logs
Monitor open items and follow up on missing information or discrepancies
Support basic billing, collections tracking, and vendor communications
Maintain organized financial records, spreadsheets, and documentation
Work across multiple software systems to process and track transactions
Ensure data is entered accurately and consistently
Help improve workflows, system organization, and internal processes
Assist with data cleanup, system updates, and reporting preparation
Assist with month-end close preparation and reporting support
Maintain trackers, schedules, and internal checklists
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal team members
Troubleshoot issues across systems and workflows
Support special projects and operational initiatives as needed
Qualification
Required
Exceptionally strong organizational skills and attention to detail
High comfort level working with computers, systems, and software
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Fast learner who enjoys figuring out new tools and processes
Reliable, methodical, and highly accurate in their work
Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
Ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities simultaneously
Preferred
Any experience with AP, AR, bookkeeping, finance, or operations
Experience in an administrative, project coordination, or office role
Exposure to accounting or ERP systems
