Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse activities including raw material receiving, storage, inventory control, order picking, packing, kitting, and finished goods shipping, ensuring all operations meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards
Analyze and optimize internal warehouse logistics processes, layout, and material handling flow; implement lean logistics and continuous improvement projects to reduce waste, increase space utilization, and improve operational efficiency
Establish and maintain effective inventory control procedures; conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories; ensure high data accuracy between the Warehouse Management System and physical stock; analyze discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Serve as key user support for the Warehouse Management System, ensuring data accuracy and process integrity; utilize data analysis and reporting tools to monitor KPIs and drive data-based decision-making and improvements
Ensure all warehousing and logistics activities strictly comply with US OSHA, DOT, relevant local regulations, and company EHS policies; lead safety audits and improvements within the warehouse area
Coordinate with external logistics service providers to manage daily inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timeliness and cost-effectiveness of transportation
Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and Procurement teams to support material requirements; be responsible for or assist in training warehouse operators on processes, systems, and safe operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain engineering role within a manufacturing or chemical industry environment
Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Proficient in warehouse layout design, inventory management principles, and lean logistics tools
Familiar with US safety and transportation regulations related to warehousing and logistics
Strong data analysis skills, proficient in using Excel and WMS/ERP reporting functions
Good project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills
Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
