Risk Management & Compliance Specialist
The State Board of Administration of Florida is seeking a Risk Management and Compliance Specialist to support the activities of the Risk Management and Compliance department. The role involves administrative functions, budget monitoring, report creation, and compliance support.
Responsibilities
Conducts day-to-day administrative support functions
Provides support for the oversight groups
Assists in policy development, compliance and maintenance
Assists in development and maintenance of SharePoint site for business unit
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Two years of related experience. A postsecondary degree may be used as an alternative for years of direct experience
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Power Point, Word, Excel)
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Ability to manage time appropriately and effectively prioritize duties and activities
Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
Ability to maintain confidential information
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to conduct research, compile data and present results in an articulate and useful manner
