Responsibilities
Lead the creative development of floral and event designs from initial concept through final execution
Translate client vision into elevated, cohesive design concepts with a strong point of view
Design large-scale floral installations, tablescapes, structures, and environments
Develop floral recipes and design specifications that balance aesthetics, mechanics, budget, and margin considerations
Participate in client meetings, venue walkthroughs, and design presentations
Serve as a trusted creative partner throughout the planning process
Clearly communicate design intent, logistics, production considerations, and budget parameters
Oversee end-to-end production of events, including timelines, layouts, logistics, and budget adherence
Partner closely with operations and leadership to ensure designs are priced appropriately and executed within approved financial parameters
Coordinate with vendors, venues, and rental partners to ensure flawless execution while maintaining cost discipline
Lead on-site installations, maintaining design integrity, quality control, and efficiency under pressure
Prepare and manage detailed production documents including budgets, estimates, floorplans, and schedules
Ensure all designs are executable, properly resourced, and aligned with approved plans, budgets, and margin expectations
Manage post-event wrap including returns, reconciliation, and internal reporting
Maintain organized documentation and clear communication across all stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in floral design and event production, ideally within luxury or design-driven environments
Strong foundation as a hands-on florist with deep knowledge of floral mechanics, sourcing, and installation
Proven experience designing and executing large-scale events and installations
Exceptional taste and a refined design eye, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly
Confidence leading teams and managing complex productions in fast-paced environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, financially aware, and calm under pressure
Proficiency with production documentation tools and standard office software
