Apparel Designer - Contract
Uncorp Wear is seeking a freelance apparel designer who specializes in bold, modern designs and repeat patterns for performance apparel. The role involves creating custom apparel graphics and collaborating with the team to bring brand stories to life through wearable art.

Responsibilities
Creating seamless repeat patterns in Adobe Illustrator
Designing vector icon systems based on a client’s industry, brand, or story
Developing all-over apparel graphics for sublimation and performance fabrics
Preparing production-ready vector files (clean layers, swatches, repeats, Pantone references)
Collaborating with our team to translate brand direction into wearable designs
Iterating quickly based on feedback from clients and internal creative direction
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Adobe Illustrator (this is a must)
A portfolio showing repeat patterns, textile graphics, or all-over prints
Ability to build clean, scalable vector artwork
A great eye for layout, spacing, and pattern balance
Experience designing for apparel, textiles, or surface design (huge plus)
Understanding of how designs translate onto garments (seams, scale, flow)
Ability to work independently and hit deadlines
