Responsibilities
Install, service and repair residential and commercial garage doors, operators and related hardware
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues quickly and accurately
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspection
Ensure proper alignment, balance, and functionality of doors and operators
Identify and diagnose issues with customers’ garage doors and related systems
Travel to different service calls in our designated area of service
Address customers concerns and inquiries in a professional manner
Accurately document all work performed, including parts used and labor time
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, providing education and recommendations
Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and inventory of parts
Follow all company safety standards and OSHA guidelines
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to lift to 50 lbs. independently and participate in team lifting to 75lbs
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to participate in on-call rotations as needed
Ability to travel to a variety of locations located within Twin Falls, ID (Magic Valley), and occasionally to other parts of ID
Preferred
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a garage door technician
Minimum of 2 years' customer service experience
Experience with a wide variety of door types and brands
Knowledge of access control systems, dock equipment, or gate operators
OSHA or industry certification
