Mount Kemble Search Group is an established environmental engineering group seeking an Environmental Consultant with experience in Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) sites. This role involves overseeing complex environmental investigation and remediation projects while collaborating with clients, regulators, and internal teams.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Lead and support environmental investigation and remediation projects related to MGP sites
Develop and implement site investigation strategies, sampling plans, and remedial approaches
Prepare technical reports, work plans, proposals, and regulatory submittals
Manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and field staff
Conduct fieldwork, including oversight of drilling, sampling, and remediation activities
Serve as a technical resource for junior staff and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing
Maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field
Experience working on Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) sites required
5+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience
Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with site investigation methods, remediation technologies, and regulatory frameworks
Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and client expectations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment

Preferred

Professional licensure (PE, PG, LSP, LEP, etc.) a plus
