Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care across all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Coordinate patient care activities with multidisciplinary teams and ancillary services for optimal outcomes
Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional nursing standards in accordance with nursing practice acts and organizational policies
Apply critical thinking and clinical expertise in high-acuity scenarios within an Emergency Department averaging over 200 patients daily
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
active registered nurse (RN) license
minimum 1+ years RN experience
Current Registered Nurse license eligible for or licensed in Missouri
Minimum 1 year ED experience in a Level 1 trauma center or 2 years in a Level 2 trauma center
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), TNCC, and NIHSS (must obtain before start if not currently held)
Ability to work night shifts, 1900-0700, with either 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours
Preferred
Experience working with trauma and pediatric cases
