Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU, monitoring vital signs and responding promptly to changes in condition
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to established protocols
Accurately document patient information and care provided using the EPIC electronic health record system
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate and support families regarding their infant's condition and care requirements
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety regulations
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
Active registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ years RN experience
Current, unrestricted RN license
Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in NICU nursing
Certifications required: BLS, PALS, and NRP
Proficiency with EPIC charting system
Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
