Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring data integrity and proper account reconciliations
Conduct financial statement audits and provide detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
Review and approve journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting policies
Provide support and guidance to team members on the use of Plex and other financial systems
Monitor accounts payable operations, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
Assist in consolidating financial data from multiple locations and preparing comprehensive reports
Offer training and support for team members unfamiliar with financial system functionalities
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while maintaining financial accuracy
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management
Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and account reconciliation
Proficiency in creating and reviewing journal entries with attention to detail
Ability to manage accounts payable processes and resolve related issues
Solid understanding of manufacturing industry accounting practices
Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively across teams
Proficiency in Excel and other financial tools to support reporting and analysis
Preferred
Familiarity with Plex or similar financial systems is highly preferred
