Responsibilities
Perform high-quality mammograms using specialized imaging equipment
Ensure patient comfort and safety during screening and diagnostic procedures
Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, conducting routine quality assurance and quality control checks
Accurately document all procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory standards such as MQSA
Assist radiologists by producing optimal images for diagnostic interpretation
Support additional breast imaging procedures, including ultrasound and biopsies
Qualification
Required
Degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification)
Minimum 1+ years Imaging experience
Preferred
Proven expertise in mammography imaging techniques
Strong understanding of breast imaging technology and radiation safety requirements
Ability to perform quality assurance and maintain regulatory compliance
Effective communication skills to guide and reassure patients throughout procedures
Experience assisting with breast ultrasound and biopsy procedures
