Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to Pre-K learners with special needs
Provide specially designed instruction in alignment with early childhood education standards and student goals
Manage a variable caseload, with recommendations around 25 students, while adapting to individual requirements
Deliver instruction across multiple three-hour blocks scheduled throughout the week
Participate in full-day planning sessions every Wednesday to collaborate with educational teams and coordinate intervention strategies
Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with families and staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
active Special Education Teacher license
minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience
Valid teaching certification in Special Education
Early Childhood Endorsement required to provide specially designed instruction within early intervention programs
Preferred
Experience working with Pre-K students in an educational or therapeutic setting
Strong understanding of developmental milestones and individualized instructional strategies for young children
Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
