Responsibilities
Manage litigation matters including real estate, construction, and general business disputes
Draft pleadings, complaints, discovery responses, and law & motion work
Participate in all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation through trial prep and trial
Serve as a point of contact for clients and opposing counsel on assigned cases
Collaborate directly with founding partner and support staff on legal strategy and case management
Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as necessary
Assist with trial preparation and trial execution when applicable
Use firm systems to manage case files and conduct legal research
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of experience in general business litigation, construction and real estate litigation experience is a plus
Strong drafting skills and experience handling discovery, pleadings, and motions
Ability to manage multiple cases with minimal oversight
Admitted to the California Bar and in good standing
Exceptional communication and client management skills
Professional demeanor with strong phone etiquette and flexibility to adapt in a fluid environment
Preferred
Trial experience is a strong plus
Candidates with solo practice backgrounds welcome if they meet litigation criteria
