Responsibilities

Providing advanced nursing care in the PICU
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Monitoring patient conditions
Administering treatments according to established protocols
Supporting floating within the Childrens Hospital only
Requiring coverage of six weekend shifts every six weeks
No call duties are involved

Pediatric ICU experienceRegistered Nurse licensePediatric Advanced Life SupportBasic Life SupportContinuous Renal Replacement TherapyCompassionate careCommunication skills

Required

Nursing degree
Active registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ years RN experience
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Pediatric ICU setting
Certifications required: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Ability to float within the Childrens Hospital units
Proficient in providing compassionate, patient-centered care with strong communication skills

Preferred

Preferred familiarity in Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
