Responsibilities
Accurately verify patient identification and obtain patient history with professionalism and care
Demonstrate expertise in MRI technology and cross-sectional human anatomy
Operate MRI scanners efficiently, including automatic contrast injections and related imaging equipment
Administer oral and IV contrast following established protocols and ensure patient eligibility via laboratory tests
Manage image transfers, including utilization of PACS, EMR, EPIC, and QC systems for image verification and order management
Maintain up-to-date certification status through continuous education
Support workflow by running schedules, handling complex procedures, assisting in research settings, and fostering a clean and safe work area
Mentor new employees and students, contributing to departmental development
Qualification
Required
Degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification)
Minimum 1+ years MRI experience
Preferred
Proven experience operating MRI scanners with strong technical knowledge
Familiarity with PACS systems and image management protocols
Ability to administer contrast agents safely and effectively
Strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
Commitment to professional development and teamwork
