Responsibilities
Deliver pre-op and post-op care in the GI Lab and Endoscopy unit
Monitor patients undergoing moderate sedation, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
Collaborate effectively with surgical and anesthesia teams
Document patient information accurately using Epic
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility standards
Float to designated nearby locations as assigned
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
Active registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ years RN experience
Active Illinois RN license
Minimum 2 years experience in GI Lab/Endoscopy and PACU Pre-op/Post-op nursing
Current ACLS and CPR certifications
Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
Ability to pass an EKG assessment with a score of 80% or higher
Experience with moderate sedation administration
Strong skills in patient monitoring and post-procedure care
Flexibility to float to nearby locations including Evanston, Highland Park, Skokie, and Glenbrook
