Responsibilities
Operate and maintain linear accelerators and CT simulators for precise radiation treatment delivery
Utilize treatment planning systems such as Aria and Vision RT to ensure accurate patient positioning and safety
Perform daily radiation therapy sessions while adhering to safety protocols, including the use of radiation badges (provided by the staffing agency)
Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care and treatment planning
Maintain comprehensive documentation through both paper and digital charting systems
Comply with facility policies, including emergency response readiness during hurricane season
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification)
Minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist
Certification requirements: BLS, ARRT(R), SCRQSA
Proficient in operating linear accelerators and CT equipment
Experience with treatment planning software such as Aria and Vision RT
Ability to accommodate occasional block schedules with prior approval
Must be able to commute within approximately 60 miles from Florence, SC
Candidates must not be local residents
Preferred
2+ years clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist
