ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to support students across Grades K-12 in Marion, IA. This contract position runs from January 2026 through June 2026, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic educational setting with self-contained, resource, and special day classrooms.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction tailored to the individual needs of students in self-contained and resource classrooms
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating with parents and guardians regularly
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and development
Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
Active Special Education Teacher license
Minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience
Experience working with students in Grades K-12

Ability to manage a caseload including self-contained, resource, and special day classrooms effectively
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred
