Talent Development Specialist

Events Services
Responsibilities
Advising, monitoring, and tracking customer participation
Counsels and assists customers with job search strategies, personal career advisement, and training needs
Help customers identify and work with barriers to employment
Maintain accurate and complete records
Ensure smooth transition of cases across services and programs
Manage day-to-day relationships with customers
Address customer concerns promptly with a plan of action
Critique resumes
Maintain an understanding of a vast array of occupations/careers for effective placement of customers
Demonstrate strategies for re-engaging customers after training completion
Show effective use of the standards of the Case Management Model
Follow policies and procedures for Career Advisement
Qualification
Required
You have a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
2+ years of working in a career counseling role
You are a self-motivated and flexible team player
You have strong computer skills
You have strong organizational skills
You have strong interpersonal skills
You have strong communication skills
You are creative and goal-oriented
You work well under pressure
You are comfortable meeting multiple deadlines
You take pride in your ability to relate to and motivate individuals, especially those facing barriers to employment
Preferred
Previous experience with workforce development or human services
